Kingston: Three men charged with child luring following September investigation

Police in Kingston, Ont. say three males are dealing with a complete of 10 expenses associated to youngster luring following an investigation final September.


The investigation was a joint operation between Kingston police and Ontario Provincial Police. Between Sept. 20 and 23, 2021, undercover officers visited on-line chatrooms and used social media to determine people trying to sexually exploit youngsters, Kingston police stated.


Two of the accused had been arrested once they confirmed as much as a pre-set location, whereas a 3rd was arrested Feb. 1, 2022, following additional investigation.


Kingston Police Chief Antje McNeely known as the scenario “a stark reminder of how simply predators can goal and sexually exploit our kids on-line.”


The accused are Andrew David Lee Whan, 31, of Verona, Ont.; Salah Hassanpour, 40, of Toronto; and Scott Davis, 35, of Perth, Ont. Every is dealing with counts of web luring, together with different offences.
