Ottawa contractor receives four-year sentence for uttering threats, fraud

An Ottawa contractor who pleaded accountable to uttering threats and fraud has been sentenced to 4 years in jail.

Cory Cahill pleaded accountable remaining month in relation to contsruction work that was on no account accomplished, or in some cases on no account started.

Prosecutors say Cahill defrauded 28 victims of higher than $250,000 over three years

Cahill will receive credit score rating for time already served.
